Studio Greytak’s Lava Mirror 5 pair celebrates the power of surging lava. Twin slices of stunning agate provide a glimpse into the heart of a volcano. Sprays of flame-colored agate erupt from the bottom edges of each piece, dissipating into a layer of quartz crystal, like steam rising from a molten river. Eddies of amethyst crystals circle along the edges of a polished aluminum center. Beneath its smooth surface, graceful swirls of agate sooth and temper the surrounding chaos and promise a return to serenity.
